Hunt Like Tom Brady

At the zenith of his Super Bowl-winning stardom with the New England Patriots, quarterback Tom Brady hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live.

During the rehearsals leading up to his appearance, Brady was particularly watchful of Lorne Michaels, the legendary founder and producer of the show. He peppered Michaels with questions, looking for insights and routines Brady could incorporate into his own approach to excellence. Like so many high-performing leaders, Brady is always on the hunt for something he can “borrow” and emulate. In this case, from the genius who created one of the most successful television shows of all time.

Great leaders are always on the hunt for a gem, a nugget, a behavior that others employ to find success. They are never too proud to learn from others and emulate what they do. Are you on the hunt?
